and.....we're back. as the leaves are in the middle of changing (when did they even start, anyway? i just looked outside one day and bam. things they were a changin) i'm feeling grey...but not in a bad way. grey is so dreamy to me. i love a morning covered in a grey fog, sort of how it was when i walked out the door this morning.
here is what i've been up to. mind you, this flyer is actually wrong; time will be 9am-5pm. not 8am. if you're in the area, please stop by any sunday starting may 2nd and see if i've got some threads or other things you'd like to own.
i'm the worst blogger ever. a friend of mine carrie dotts (check out her work here) just recently mentioned wanting to see my blog cause she had heard about it and i realized if i actually replied to her email in a timely manner she would have been directed to a site last updated a month ago. sorry, dotts, hopefully you can forgive my delay in my email reply :)
anway. my hair is as a rat's nest must be. that being said, i want to find some inspiration for things to wear over my hair. let's look at some adorned heads:
amanda hughen is amazing. these images created both on paper and on wood are so eerie and beautiful and haunting and science-y and dreamy and out-of-this-world. i could stare for hours! in fact, i will, since i just made one my background on my desktop...check her out!
this is how i've been feeling lately. generally i love the first snow, like the first 10 minutes of the second snow, and hate all the rest until spring finally comes and makes it's appearance. ready for bikinis, booty shorts, beaches, and the sun! image via wooster collective.
these insanely gorgeous rings by laurent million can apparently be found here but they are completely avoiding me like the plague. can you get onto this website? if so, please let me know; until then, i will just drool over this picture for hours.
they look like someone took those magnetic moustache games we used to play with and dipped them in liquid nitrogen, but not before molding them into ring-size morsels of perfection. xo!
you know when ma dukes gets on your back about slacking on your blog, you're doing a real crappy job. so, here i am. hopefully the motivation i've been lacking in recent weeks is back for good, due in part to securing a "new" job, rediscovering my love of hazelnuts in chocolate, and my neighborhood deli/convenience store stocking my favorite ben and jerry's flavor again (oatmeal cookie chunk).
and now, i give you green (with no references to st. patty's day, i promise).
